Meat Loaf

No no, not the singer. But, a delicious little Sunday afternoon treat: meatloaf. Yeah, I know what you are thinking, she didn't just use meatloaf and delicious in the same sentence. But, trust me, this is different from your grandma's meatloaf and for the better. There is a good reason that there are never any meat loaf leftovers in the Wilde house (besides the fact that I HATE leftovers).

1 and 1/2 lbs of ground beef
1/2 pound of regular pork sausage
1 egg
1 slice of white bread, torn into small pieces
1/8 cup ketchup

1/8 cup bbq sauce

1/8 cup milk

1/2 small can of diced green chilies

1/2 small onion, diced

1 block of cheddar or spicy jack cheese, cut into one inch cubes

Mix all ingredients together with hands in a large bowl. Place in a crock pot and cook on high for 4 hours. Enjoy!

I find this meatloaf is best served with hot sauce instead of ketchup as a garnish.
